Position Overview:

We are seeking a Video Content Quality Reviewer with a keen eye for editorial and technical accuracy to join our video production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all video content aligns with editorial, stylistic, and technical standards before being published across digital platforms. This includes reviewing scripts, verifying voiceovers, checking video quality, and ensuring compliance with content policies and platform-specific guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Review & Approval

• Ensure videos follow template/style requirements, proper background music, and voiceovers.
• Verify script accuracy, grammar, and pronunciation, ensuring strong command of the English language across visuals and audio.

Technical Quality Assessment

• Inspect videos for resolution, color grading, audio levels, transitions, and synchronization.
• Identify and guide correction of issues like poor framing, sound imbalances, and graphical errors.
• Ensure compliance with the standards of various digital platforms.

Compliance & Ethical Standards

• Check for legal, ethical, and regulatory compliance including copyright and fair use.
• Ensure sensitive content is treated with appropriate editorial care.
• Confirm videos meet platform-specific timing and format constraints.

Collaboration & Feedback

• Provide detailed feedback to video producers and editors.
• Create and maintain review checklists and quality guidelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in video production, editing, or quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of journalistic standards and editorial best practices.
• Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Ability to assess videos analytically using reporting tools.
• Familiarity with AI tools for visualization and reporting is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to provide actionable editorial feedback.
• Understanding of visual storytelling, platform optimization, and audience engagement.
